Summary:

The National Sales Executive is responsible for maximizing company revenues through prospecting, conducting phone and in-person sales presentations to prospective customers, and managing the overall sales process selling brokerage flatbed capacity solutions.

At PGT Services, we service our customers by providing 3rd party flatbed, dry van, project logistics, and drayage capacity solutions, built on expertise, customer relationships, and perform with detailed execution to give our customers the confidence they need and deserve.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Grow PGT Services by developing new accounts and building a book of profitable business.
  2. Solicit new business from new customers and take care of existing customers to expand business volume and meet margin goals.
  3. Evaluate customer transportation requirements, and sell PGT Services Flatbed, Dry Van, and Contract Management expertise.
  4. Propose transportation solutions from PGT Services offerings based on customer needs and financial requirements, while being able to follow the sales process from start to finish.
  5. Conduct on-site visits with prospective customers where you will advise them on features and benefits of PGT Services.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. Must have Flatbed, Dry Van, and or 3PL experience
  3. Must be a new business hunter, be able to prospect, and be tenacious in cold calling to establish new customer business and relationships
  4. Must have a big picture mentality, be motivated, hardworking, and have a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  5. Must have desire to be collaborative and work in a fun, one team one goal atmosphere
  6. Excellent time management, communication, decision making, presentation, and organizational skills
