Upon graduation, Josh’s commitment and growing skills led to a role as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), a vital role in transportation logistics. Here, he further honed his communication and relationship-building abilities, consistently exceeding expectations in connecting with potential customers. As he describes this stage, “After graduation, I started as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), where I honed my cold-calling skills and learned how to build rapport with potential customers. The strong development plan and support from my colleagues and friends at the company led to early success. This success enabled me to transition out of the SDR role after just four months.”
This rapid progress highlights PGT’s growth pathways in transportation logistics careers. Within just four months, Josh’s achievements earned him a promotion to Transportation Sales Executive. Reflecting on that role, Josh shares, “I was then promoted to Transportation Sales Executive, where I managed my own book of business and assisted in training new SDRs. I held this role for seven months, and the experience was incredibly rewarding.”
Now, Josh has reached another significant milestone in his career at PGT Services. “With my recent promotion to Senior Sales Executive, I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter—helping the company grow further and continuing to support the sales team.
